Wedding days from your perspective consist of a lot of moving parts: spending time with your best friends, hugging and embracing family you haven’t seen in a while, dancing the night away with your now husband or wife. The only thing you should be worrying about on the day that you get married is to be fully present.
This is where your hired professionals come in. You’re here because you value the investment in a wedding day that you’ve spent months curating and perfecting, and you want to make sure that when that day finally comes, you can rest it in the hands of those who are experienced to take care of you. I couldn’t love that more.
When it comes to my approach to a wedding day, as the professional that you’ve entrusted your wedding with, I’ll be there to document your day as it unfolds. All of the in-between moments, as you will. I know when to step back to let those moments happen authentically, without me intervening or rushing you through a fleeting moment. But, I also think wedding days call for structure and guidance every now and then, which is why you’ve invested in a professional. I step in to guide and direct with posing + prompting in order to get some of those frame-worthy posed shots, too.
I capture wedding days with an even mix of the two styles, making sure that you have those traditional portraits that your mom or grandma may want to hang in their home or place in a scrapbook on their coffee table, but also those candid/documentary style photos of moments you may not realize that you want to remember forever.
At the end of the day, what matters most is that your story is told exactly as it happened in whatever way that looks like for you guys specifically. Every couple is unique, and so is every wedding. This personalized approach allows me to capture your day in a way that feels authentic and true to you.
