When it comes to engagement sessions, most couples often seek locations that reflect their personalities and the way they want their stories told. For these two, there was no doubt that they wanted (and PULLED OFF) the lively, intimate atmosphere of a downtown bar. Logan and Jacob told me from the very beginning that they knew exactly what they wanted and had a vision to execute. We looked all over for the perfect location until Logan stumbled upon The Pharmacy in Downtown Asheboro and was SOLD. It was a perfect mix of romance, laughter, and the kind of energy only a downtown setting can offer.
From the moment I met Logan outside and we stepped into the bar, it was SO clear this was the PERFECT spot for their engagement session. Whether they were sharing a toast or stealing a kiss, the bar’s cozy atmosphere made every shot feel intimate and personal with a magazine worthy feel, which was exactly what Logan and Jacob wanted.
We went full blown editorial style for this session and this is JUST the first part. Jacob actually fixed up an older Mercedes so we spent the last half of our session out on the streets with the car and let me just say, those are JUST as stunning. I’ll always be a sucker for this style of photos: the direct posing, the flash (when necessary), the editorial magazine vibes, the soft smiles, the intimacy, the love, the connection. It truly was one of my favorite engagement sessions to date.
